Position Summary

This position will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing the production schedule to ensure timely delivery of products while optimizing resources and minimizing costs. You will collaborate closely with various departments including production, operations, and program management to meet customer demands and achieve organizational goals.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Develop and maintain the master production schedule based on customer orders, sales forecasts, inventory levels, and production capacity.
  • Coordinate with production managers to ensure optimal utilization of resources including manpower, equipment, and materials to meet production targets efficiently.
  • Analyze lead times for raw materials, production processes, and finished goods to identify bottlenecks and implement strategies to reduce lead times and improve production efficiency.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, logistics, and sales to communicate production schedules, resolve issues, and ensure alignment of activities to meet customer requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency gains in production planning and scheduling processes.
  • Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production scheduling such as on-time delivery, production efficiency, and inventory levels.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; Combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
  • 2-5 years' experience in production planning, scheduling, and/or operations management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software (Microsoft Excel).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.

The employee is occasionally required to move, position self, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally transport up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., working with small objects or reading small print), including use of computers, far visual acuity, and peripheral vision. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

Salary Range

$70,000.00 - $85,000.00

However, Innoflight considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills. Employees may be eligible for profit sharing and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. In addition, Innoflight provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, 401K, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
